BA Political Science is now having with Semester Pattern & CBCS from June 2018.
Brief History Of Depertment
The Journey of Political Science Depertment begins since June. 1975 under the able leadership of Mr.B.B.Patil & Mr.R.G.Varadkar. He Laid the foundation of the Department. When Mr.R.G.Varadkar joined shahaji College Kolhapur in 1977, Mr.S.S.Jadhav Joined the Department. After the retirement of Mr.B.B.Patil in 2000, Mr.S.S.Jadhav worked as the head of the Department till jan.2008.
After that Dr. S. K. Khadase worked as Head of the Department till date.He has Completed his M.Phil in Oct.2012 at Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad & Ph.D in April.2018 at Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Mr. A. N. Patil Join the Department in Nov. 2010. He appeared for Ph.D in Jun. 2012 and submitted his dissertation at Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Department consistently running various extra curricular activities related to the ability enhancement of the students.
